The Sierras

The Sierras are a mountain range that run South to North for more than 400 miles in California. They are home to three national parks, twenty wilderness areas and the highest point in the contiguous United States. In 2011 I hiked through the Sierras on a thousand mile backpacking trip through California, and had the time of my life. The massive granite mountains, unique trees, plant life and spectacular vistas all left an indelible mark on me. The Sierra range is about the closest to heaven on Earth you can get in my opinion. Every time I return, I am humbled by their magnificence. Here I present to you some of my favorite images from my adventures in the Sierras.
